At Childhaus in Pinyahan, Quezon City, children battling cancer face a journey no child should have to endure. Yet, beyond their fight for recovery, they deserve something equally important—the chance to learn, dream, and look forward to a brighter future.
The Rotary Club of Cubao Sunrise, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Kamuning Central, brings hope through a continuing basic education project that provides weekly learning sessions for children at Childhaus. Every Sunday, volunteer teachers visit the young patients to teach reading, basic mathematics, and other foundational skills, reminding them that their dreams remain within reach despite the challenges of illness.
The commitment goes beyond tutorials. Some beneficiaries have been adopted by the club and enrolled in formal education at San Vicente Elementary School, helping them continue their educational journey.
With the support of Past President Jeanette Cu of the Rotary Club of Kamuning Central and Past DCOS Aiza Remedios of the Rotary Club of Cubao Sunrise, this two-year continuing partnership demonstrates the power of collaboration and compassionate service.
For these children, every lesson is more than education—it is a reminder that they are seen, supported, and believed in.
Because every child deserves not only the chance to heal, but also the opportunity to learn, dream, and build a future.
Rotary: Creating lasting impact, one child and one lesson at a time.
